We are looking for an individual who is a leader with strong organizational and communication skills to join our team as the Sales Development Coordinator.  The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a strong attention to detail, and be process-oriented.  This role will be responsible for supervising the inside sales representatives while providing guidance, training, and successful project completion from orders, quotes, inventory, customer contact, and escalation resolutions.  The Sales Development Coordinator will also help build processes, improve service, support outside sales, and manage the full sales cycle from quote to delivery.

$60k - $65k based on experience

Responsibilities

 
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Inside Sales team
  • Ensure all customer emails and inquiries are acknowledged and followed up promptly
  • Guide the team in processing orders, quotes, and part requests accurately
  • Support and coordinate with outside sales on shared accounts and leads
  • Help implement and improve team processes and tools
  • Provide training, answer questions, and offer guidance to team members
  • Handle escalations or complex orders when needed
  • Understand the various contracts and pricing structures
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and company offerings
Qualifications
  • Experience in inside sales, parts, or customer service — automotive, fleet, or equipment environments - preferred
  • Familiarity with quoting, order entry, and basic inventory processes
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, and other sales tools
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead by example and keep the team focused and accountable
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts
  • A proactive mindset — someone who spots problems before they happen
  • Knowledge of emergency vehicle equipment and lighting - preferred
  • High school diploma or college degree – preferred
