We are seeking candidates who thrive in a culture of prioritization and execution, with exceptional professional conduct, to join our team as an ApprenticeEmergency Vehicle Installation Technician. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, knowledge, and experience working with hand and power tools. The Apprentice Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our first responders operate safe, reliable, and effective vehicles. The Apprentice Technicians are tasked with installing the following equipment: Emergency Vehicle Lighting and Control Systems, Sirens, Prisoner Transport Systems, Radios, Radar, In-Car-Camera Systems, License Plate Readers, Equipment Consoles and Cargo Cabinets, Weapon and Drone mounting systems, and front push bars, to name a few.
Compensation and Benefits Schedule
Full Time-Hourly
Typical Schedule is Monday-Friday 6:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M. Some overtime required.
Compensation
Starting pay $22 per hour and up, depending on experience
Bonus potential after satisfactorily completing the initial training period.

Attributes of a Strong Candidate:
Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance
Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus
12V knowledge and experience – a plus

Primary Responsibilities
Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts
Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, in-car video, Computers, License Plate Recognition, and much more.
Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours.
