Don’t miss this opportunity to join our team as an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician.  The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, automotive knowledge, and 12V experience. The Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that our first responders operate safe, reliable, and effective vehicles.  The Emergency Vehicle Installation Technicians are tasked with installing the following equipment: Emergency Vehicle Lighting and Control Systems, Sirens, Prisoner Transport Systems, Radios, Radar, In-Car-Camera Systems, Equipment Consoles and Cargo Cabinets, Weapon and Drone mounting systems, and front push bars.

Schedule  
 
  • Full Time-Hourly Monday – Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
  • Some overtime is available

Attributes of a Strong Candidate 
 
  • Proven 12V experience 
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics  
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
  • Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance 
  • Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus 
  • Strong Work Ethic  
  • Must be Punctual
  • Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment 
  • Pre-Employment Background Check 

Primary Responsibilities 
 
  • Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts 
  • Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Partitions, Window Bars, Prisoner seats, Gun racks, in-car video, Computers, License Plate Recognition, and much more 
  • Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours
